This talk will discuss the benefits and theory behind asset build systems, walk you through several examples, discuss implementation options, and give specific details and advice on a tech artist friendly implementation along with common gotchas.


Attendees will leave with an understanding of the benefits, intricacies and implementation details of a complex asset build system. They will know what it takes to develop a robust system, including an understanding of the theory, concrete examples, and specific steps to create a build system back home.
