This session will explore the world of mobile user acquisition and how to intelligently apply strategies to different tiers of developers. Using GREE as a case study, it will analyze specific UA successes and failures, while providing a comparison of regional methodologies, as well as the differences between mobile and traditional marketing acquisition. The speaker will do a deep dive on the current state of the UA market and an overview of where it is headed, with what new approaches/channels may come up in the near future. Lastly, it will discuss specific processes and benchmark numbers (CPI/CVR) to look out for when making marketing, spend and timing decisions.


Attendees will be able to learn from GREE's extensive experience in user acquisition, and tailor the proposed UA strategies based on genre, game, dev size and budgets - so everybody can benefit from a distinct UA methodology. Additionally, attendees will be able to understand the differences between traditional marketing and mobile user acquisition, and best apply the strategy that fits their needs.
