Code ER: Let's Bring Some Code Back from the Dead

As a group, attendees will participate in a series of code reviews of publically available game code, which has been submitted in advance. Attendees will discuss possible data design, performance, maintenance and debugging issues, and suggest vectors for change and analysis. All attendees will be expected to actively participate in the review process, quickly review the presented code, ask good questions and make suggestions for change. Lively debate will be encouraged. Expect a mix of live editing and analysis with high-level discussion of potential improvements outside the scope of the available time.


Through group interaction, attendees will pick up applicable, practical techniques and perspectives on improving performance from their peers. Tips and notes from hard-earned experience will be collected throughout the session.
