The children's game design roundtables gather industry professionals for face-to-face discussions of topics relevant to their work. This session will focus on the design of games, including children's physical and mental development characteristics and their implications for game mechanics, design,and story development.

Takeaway

This series of roundtables will focus on the issues developers encounter when making kid-friendly games. Attendees will be able to both share their knowledge as well as gain insight from other people's experiences. The primary takeaway for everyone attending will be an enhanced understanding of the children's gaming market.

Attendees to this session should be versed in general game development or usability, and have an interest in or working knowledge of the children's gaming space.
